Family Therapy

Strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and foster greater connection within your family.

Families can be one of our greatest sources of support, belonging, and resilience. They can also experience periods of conflict, misunderstanding, stress, or disconnection that leave family members feeling frustrated, hurt, or alone.

Family therapy provides a space to better understand one another, navigate challenges together, and develop healthier patterns of communication and connection. Whether your family is facing ongoing conflict, a major life transition, concerns about a child or adolescent, or simply feeling disconnected, therapy can help create new opportunities for understanding and growth.

In-person family therapy is available in West Palm Beach, with virtual therapy available throughout Florida.

You might be here because…

Communication often leads to conflict, frustration, or misunderstanding.

Family members feel disconnected from one another.

You are struggling to navigate parenting challenges.

A child or adolescent is experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns.

Your family is adjusting to a significant life transition.

Conflict has become difficult to resolve on your own.

Family members feel unheard, misunderstood, or emotionally distant.

You want to strengthen your family's relationships and improve communication.

Connection Deepens Through Understanding

Families develop patterns of communication and interaction over many years. While some of these patterns can be helpful, others may unintentionally create conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional distance.

Family therapy provides an opportunity to slow down and better understand what is happening beneath the surface. As family members gain insight into one another's experiences, needs, and perspectives, new possibilities for connection often emerge.

Like a grove of trees sharing the same environment while growing in different directions, families thrive when each individual is understood, supported, and able to remain connected while developing their own unique identity.

My Approach

Families often find themselves caught in patterns of communication, conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional distance that can be difficult to change without support. Family therapy provides an opportunity to better understand those patterns, strengthen relationships, and create new ways of relating to one another.

My approach is informed by more than four years of experience serving as the Director of Family Services for a local treatment center, where I conducted weekly family therapy and helped families navigate a wide range of challenges. This experience reinforced my belief that lasting change often occurs when family members are able to better understand one another, communicate more effectively, and work together toward shared goals.

Drawing from family systems theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, and other evidence-based practices, I work collaboratively with families to foster greater understanding, connection, and resilience.
